Big, bold Cabernet Sauvignon displaying rich varietal characteristics of dark berry and cassis with hints of spice and chocolate on the nose

92 points. "Just what you would expect from a long, cool vintage and hillside vineyards - a tightly wrapped, dense wine that need some time in the cellar to unfurl its flavors of chocolate, cassis and lead pencil. Has a richly textured mouthfeel and, despite some drying tannins, finishes with enough fruit to more than compensate."
