Dark black cherry, juicy plum, blackberry, and dark chocolate scents leap from the glass of this Napa Valley Merlot. There is plenty of structure on the palate, with complex flavours that are velvety and rich, as well as grace and elegance backed by the crisp acidity. There are undertones of sweet spice, black mission fig, and black licorice as well. This is a highly delicious, mouth-watering Merlot with excellent length and fruit clarity. A year in European oak barrels brought up delicate wood spices and espresso notes.
