This Cabernet has an intense red colour and a wonderful fragrance of upfront fruit, subtle oak notes from barrel fermentation, anise, and a trace of chocolate. On the palate, cassis, blackberry, and black cherry mingle with ripe black fruit. With a smooth, creamy richness, the finish is long and lingering. The 2017 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon was barrel-fermented and barrel-aged in new French oak for 24 percent of the wine. The majority of the wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks before being blended in French neutral wood.
