Sycamore Lane Merlot Red Wine displays fresh, cherry-like varietal aromas, with hints of tobacco and herbal spice.Medium-bodied, with a smooth texture and soft tannins, it boasts rich, lingering flavors of cherries and plums. The wine fermented for a week at 85 degrees Fahrenheit and after settling and racking, was aged for approximately one year in a combination of new and used American oak tanks and casks prior to bottling. Sycamore Lane produces a smooth, easy drinking style of Merlot, enjoyable with many types of food. Enjoy this fine wine as an excellent accompaniment to a wide range of foods, especially chicken, beef, lamb, game, and tomato-based pastas. One 750mL bottle of wine has 13.4% alcohol by volume.
